  5. producer; of cardiac arrest; in Los Angeles. Originally a
  6. dancer, Vanoff helped produce a number of TV hits in the 1950s,
  7. '60s and '70s, among them Steve Allen's Tonight, Bing Crosby
  8. and Andy Williams specials, The Milton Berle Show, The Sonny
  9. and Cher Show and The Julie Andrews Hour, for which he won one
  10. of his five Emmys.
